It's an event for anyone who cares about conservation, wildlife, people and our planet. And you'll leave with new know-how and knowledge to help take simple steps in your own life - so together, we can help our wildlife to thrive.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated directly to Wellington Zoo's global conservation partners. Admission includes morning tea and lunch.

Plant care, including weeding, releasing young plants, occasional planting, removing rubbish.

Usually held on the first and third Thursday mornings each month, starting about 9.00 am.

Usually near the Wharf, but anywhere from the west end of the wharf car-park, to the Heretaunga Yacht Club – look for the Coast Care flag.

Cancelled if weather bad.
