The National Wetland Trust is a non-profit organisation established to increase the appreciation of wetlands and their values by all New Zealanders. We aim to build a wetland interpretation centre near Hamilton Airport for people to learn more about wetlands and experience their special qualities. We also organise regular wetland restoration symposia and are developing wetland trails and regional directories of wetlands to visit.
