South Titirangi Neighbourhood Network

WHO WE ARE

We are a network of several streets on the South Titirangi Peninsula who are working together to create a weed- and pest-free peninsula by 2022.

MONTHLY WORKING BEES

We hold monthly working bees on the last Saturday of each month, working in public reserves, such as Titirangi Beach Reserve, the Tinopai track, and Tamariki Reserve.

We remove pest plants such as wattle, ginger, asparagus fern and blue morning glory. We then plant natives to restore biodiversity.

We welcome volunteers from anywhere to join us at our working bees.

We meet on the last Saturday of every month from 2 - 4 pm.

PEST CONTROL PULSES

We also have over 220 hourseholds engaged in several possum and rat control pulses per year.
