History of Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust

Commercial operators in the Abel Tasman National Park contribute to an annual 'Birdsong Levy' which is used for predator control, habitat restoration and bird translocations to heavily protected areas (ie South Island Robin/Toutouwai and Saddleback/Tieke). We have received substantial grants to undertake wilding pine eradication and invasive weed control throughout the southern extent of the Abel Tasman National Park.
