We are a grassroots, experienced ecological conservation team dedicated and passionate about: - RESTORING native flora and fauna on Te Ahumairangi Hill. - PROTECTING and celebrating the ecological and cultural significance of Te Ahumairangi Hill. - CONNECTING nature and people, wilderness and city At the Heart of Wellingtons green town belt, closely encircled by Zealandia and Otari Bush, Te Ahumairangi hill provides a haven for native species to flourish. With its towering canopy, variety of native flora, and uninterrupted green space, it is a popular perching, feeding, nesting and social gathering site for our Taonga species including Karearea Kaka Kakariki and Kereru.
